About Us
A Small Farm on the Big Island
We are a small farm located in the world famous Kona coffee belt on the Big Island of Hawai'i. We grow tropical fruit, nuts and authentic Kona coffee.
Our Story
Our farm's roots run deep in the history of Kona coffee, dating back to the days when Japanese immigrants came to work on Hawaii's sugar cane plantations. Their pioneering spirit led them to establish the original Kona coffee farms, a legacy that continues today.
Yoko, her husband Page and their beloved dog Thunder breathed new life into the farm when they arrived from California in 2006. Sadly Page passed away in 2018, leaving Yoko with a whole farm to manage by herself. In 2019, Yoko was then joined by her friends Shinobu and David to help the farm continue. There's also now a full cast of animal characters that "help" us around the farm too.

We then decided to change the name of our farm to represent the spirit of Hawai'i island, home to Mauna Loa, the largest active volcano in the world. Where the elements of life itself are birthed. That is why we decided to change our name to Hawaiian Mana Farm.
