Farm Clean-up Day....

We need to clean up this section of the property. The bananas trees that were left in a compost pile turned into giants that need to move.

Before cutting these trees down and transplanting any small trees, we found a small bunch of bananas ready for picking! These will be great for our smoothies.

Shinobu uses her electric saw like a katana and cuts down a banana tree.

No ladder needed to get these bananas!

Shinobu spotted a coffee tree nearby with vines growing on it.

Besides pruning the coffee trees, we also have to keep vines from climbing and overgrowing them. This is a constant year-round job.

The vines have to be taken off the trees and pulled on at ground level. It is a lot of work to keep the trees cleared.
